Round 4: Tool Time CU Freebies

For these week's challenge we were asked to create our own designer resources. Our task was to photograph or scan three items and extract them for future use. We will be judged on the quality of our elements and extractions, as well as the uniqueness and usability of our products.

For me, one of the hardest things to scrap and design are male layouts and kits. There just never seem to be enough male-oriented elements floating around. So that's exactly what I decided to create! I introduce to you....

Tool Time!
These three items straight from Daddy's toolbox will make the perfect addition to any manly page or kit. Free for both Personal and Commercial use.

Once again the download links are located in the Stuff to Scrap forum. Hop on over there to snag my entry as well as browse the other designers products.

February Blog Train: Hey, Mr. Groundhog!

ChooChoo! It's blog train time again! This months color palette is a soft, beginning-of-spring toned one with lots of great neutrals that can be used for almost anything! They are lots of great pieces to gather so make sure you ride the train all the way around! (Don't forget the designers live all over the world, so check back if someone's post isn't up yet.)

My contribution this month is a lowercase alpha. It's made of slightly crumpled paper and stitched on one side. It's also a nice neutral tan so I hope you can find a use for it on a variety of scrapbook pages!

Round 3: Summer Love Kit

For this week's challenge we were given a picture to use as our inspiration for our mini kit. I LOVED the colors in this photo and decided to base my color palette around those. To me, the bold colors said "summertime", but even more it made me think of all those secret summer crushes I had as a child. Growing up I was certain that almost every family vacation we went on I was going to fall in love with some mysterious stranger. I suppose I watched too many girly movies. :) So this kit is for all those young lovers out there...

Summer Love
The perfect kit to scrap your summer adventures or sweet romances. This kit is so adaptable and can be the perfect non-traditional Valentine's kit or great for scrapping a day at the park.
